A Walk To Remember

Well, not exactly a "walk", should be a trip instead..
But, I still prefer it sounding "A Walk To Remember" than "A Trip To Remember".. Blek..XD..
It was really nice of Da Jiu to purposely fetch me from Kampar and
bring me up to Cameron Highland to spend my first night there..
Yea.. Indeed, it's the first time I overnight there..
Not that I've never been to Cameron Highland, just that I haven stay there b4..
So.. Yea.. It was a really nice experience.. =)

First he came pick me up straight after Japanese Lecture.. Around 1pm..
Ruyi, Abel, Aaron, and Gabriel followed as well..

Dont really like the journey up actually.. Always makes me dizzy.. @@
But thank God we managed to reach up Ringlet safely around 3pm..
We had lunch there.. Then we went to Da Jiu's Quary..
*My uncle owns a quary.. Cool huh.. XD*

This is the machine to grind the large rocks into stones for sale

The "crusher"

They blast the mountain for more stones
*Ruyi : Dad, you're destroying nature, I SOOO gonna sue you when I grow up...!!
DaJiu: And who's the one who pays you to study Law...? *

Ok, this is where the vehicles measure their weight.. On the metal thingy on the ground.. Saw it?

After that, we went to the Strawberry Farm to pick strawberries!!!
This looks kinda retarded.. NEXT!!!

Ruyi with Mr. Scarecrow

Plucking plucking..
Only me and Ruyi went plucking, the rest of the guys waited for us at the little restaurant there.. They bought snacks ===>>>strawberries with chocolate syrup.. Unfortunately, with all the hard work me and Ruyi did, the guys only left us THIS...
One, Two, Three, Four.... Five... WHAT??!! Only FIVE??!!
Shame on you people.. Tsk Tsk Tsk..
Nevermind, me and Ruyi shall keep the ones we pluck all by ourselves.. HNG!!
This is what we got! Good job Ruyi!! Woohoo!!
Later on, we had ice cream too..
Before...

After... Hehe..
We checked in our apartment.. This is me and Ruyi's bedroom.. PREEETTYYY...
But the beds were really bouncy...

After everyone showered, we had dinner at DaJiu's friend's restaurant..
Served with nice food.. WEEEE... XD
The muruku's not part of it of course.. It's jz snacks..
We headed to the Pasar Malam there too..
Btw, this is the first time I wore a jacket to Pasar Malam.. =="
We take away "Char Kuey Kak"

Strawberries covered in Chocolate!!! Yummy!!!
After Pasar Malam, we went back to the apartment, watched Brother Bear, then GOODNIGHT.. ZZZ...
But Ruyi woke up around 4am in the morning.. *I thought it was 6am initially*, she said she cant sleep so she went reading her newly bought books.. She's a bookworm by the way.. Until I checked my time, I was shocked that it's only 4AM!!! RUUUYYYIII!! You're supposed to be still sleeping soundly instead of waking up reading books!!! Funny la you.. Wake up in the middle of the night reading instead of sleeping.. Aiks..

NEXT MORNING...
Had breakfast at a chinese restaurant, with NO PORK SERVED.. TT..
But the Kuey Teow Soup there's not bad oso la..

Then we waited for Ravi, our driver, to bring us up to the highest point of Cameron Highland to explore the nature as well as doing some sight seeing..

We went to somewhere near Ravi's place where he stays..
The view from there is SOOOOO B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!
Our God is indeed a great artist..

By the way.. The way up here cant be drive by normal cars..
We went on Ravi's jeep to get all the way up here..
Ravi's jeep

Very Very Bumpy Road
Ravi later brought us up to the highest point of Cameron Highland..
You gotta first climb these stairs..
Then the tower to reach to the top..

Not all of us went up though..
Abel was half way up..
Gabriel stayed down there all along..
So only me, Ruyi, DaJiu, and Aaron managed to get to the top..
But we didnt really see much coz it was misty..
Abel going down..

Picture taken from the top of the tower..
Later on, we went to the Moss Forest..
It's called the Moss Forest because it's surrounded with lots and lots of moss..
It's really wet in there.. And a little disgusting..
But, the experience was great..

This is really cool.. It indicates the boundary that separates Pahang and Perak.. So, when you're there, you can be in Perak and Pahang at the same time, being two places at one, cool huh... XD
Next stop, BOH TEA FACTORY, SUNGAI PALAS...
The one we went is the one located in Sungai Palas..
It's the first time I've been to that tea factory..
Coz the one I usually go to is at another side of Cameron Highland..
This one is much bigger and fancier.. hehe..

The design's really nice..

Yes Gabriel it's made up of many logs, and No, you cant push them off to make them fall.. =="

Having brunch..

Would you like to have a cup of tea?
After the trip, we went back and packed our stuff and get ready for lunch..
DaJiu brought us to one of the Western Restaurant there..
It's called The Rosette Bistro..

That's my Fish-n-Chip..
Once again, thank you so much DaJiu for bringing us there..
Love you sooooo much.. =)
